#TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas- GIVEAWAY- Day 8: Carlene Love Flores & Sin's Flower

Please welcome Carlene Love Flores on Day 8 of #TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas!

Hi everyone! I’m so happy to be here because we’re celebrating two of my favorite things, Christmas and Red Hot Romance Novels! I hope today finds you all snuggly warm and with lots of time for reading. Cheers!

There’s so much to love about the holidays, but my favorite part is getting out of the house at night and driving around looking at all the lights. There’s a special kind of magic in those lights. When I can snag someone else to drive, a cup of cocoa makes it five thousand times better!

Sin’s Flower is the second book in my Sin Pointe series and so in a way it was inspired by the first book, Sidewalk Flower. The way that first book ended so happily for the couple was wonderful but it left Jaxon in such misery. I had to go back and find a way for Jaxon, give him something good worth fighting for. It turned out that I had a blast with him, even though he made me blush at just about every turn. I’m so glad we plunged through it and made his Christmas pretty sweet. Oh, one quick hot tid bit…I had many a sexy man inspire Jaxon, but a huge part of his rawness came from the beautiful and expressive face of Jeremy Renner. Yum, right?

I’ve been thinking and thinking, trying to come up with a real-life holiday story to share and I keep coming back to the craziness that happened in my area a few years ago. I’d just moved to the Washington DC area and being a San Diego Native, I was (and still am) a weather wimp. And then…Snowmageddon hit! It was just crazy and on the day it hit, I had a San Diego cousin flying in to spend Christmas with me. Her flight didn’t get cancelled like I assumed it would. Weather wimps have to stick together so there was no way I was leaving her stranded at the airport. To this day I have no idea how I got to the airport and then back home with her. But I bet you it was the one and only time I have driven out here in zero traffic!

I can’t wait for one lucky winner to take Mr. Jaxon James home with them! My prize is an ecopy of his story, Sin’s Flower (A Sin Pointe Novel, #2). Good luck and Thank You to Elyzabeth for being such a lovely hostess to us all! Merry Christmas to everyone and to everyone a good and spicy romance book!

Sin’s Flower (A Sin Pointe Novel, #2)

When Jaxon James, a sexy rock star and struggling single-father, is invited to ditch California and spend Christmas in Tennessee with his estranged family, he hesitantly accepts for his young daughter’s sake.  But his attraction to his best friend’s baby sister, Lily Elstone, threatens to unravel the bonds he’s made for his daughter.  The honorable thing to do would be to give up Lily.  But his instincts are telling him she’s exactly the one who could bring light to his life and the missing fire to his bed.  Unfortunately, Lily's too sweet for his world.  He fears his rock and roll life style will taint her.   How far are Jaxon and Lily willing to go to find what’s missing at home?

About Carlene:
Carlene Love Flores is a big fan of the stars (especially Orion), honest music (especially Depeche Mode), and her travelling family (no favorites there-she loves them all). These things have always inspired her to think up edgy, intimate love stories and continue to do so. If she could touch someone’s heart with her writing the way others have done for her, she’d say truly there never lived a luckier girl.

  1. I've been whisked away to a wonderful Christmasy location with the family however the internet is not so hot...I'm using this one little blast of cyber juice to say hi to everyone, thank Elyzabeth again for hostessing and wish you all Merry Merry Christmas!!!!!

  2. My favorite winter weather is thunder snow. It is a thunderstorm with snow. I hate driving in the snow and ice. Living in the Midwest we get our share of snowstorms, ice, thunderstorms, and tornadoes.

    Have a Merry Christmas!!

  3. My grandparent used to live in the Colorado Rockies and one year we went for Christmas there was storm that created 7ft. snow drifts. The house was mainly solar windows so it was a little disconcerting looking out directly at the snow standing there.
Your stories look terrific! Thanks for sharing with the hop!
    Happy Holidays! *<}:-)

  4. @Angieia I've never heard of thunder snow but it sounds like something to enjoy watching from the warmth of your home! It also sounds sort of beautiful though. :)

@Stephanie Oh wow! That would be intimidating to see that you're completely housebound in that amount of snow! Thank you so much for the sweet words. :)

  5. Since I live in northern California, the rare snow flurry is always a shocker!
(And it's been so cold this year, it could happen!)

  6. @vitajex I love Northern California at Christmas time. I remember going to Fisherman's Wharf and freezing my patooties off as a kid but really loving it. Merry Christmas to you!
